The artistic talents of Loralie Harris were evident early in her childhood and were encouraged by her mother and grandmother. In college she studied costume and fashion design, after college she opened her own boutique where she sold her one-of-a-kind creations. Loralie is a four-time recipient of the prestigious DEBI (Distinctive Excellence in the Bridal Industry) Award in the category of prom. Her designs have been featured in Seventeen, Teen Prom, Your Prom, YM and Elle Girl.
Loralie’s current fabric collections and characters were born from her dress sketches on a hotel notepad. Tucking one of her little ladies in her Daytimer, she realized that every time she opened her notebook she got a little lift from the whimsical face smiling back at her. Loralie Designs was born.
